This training material is designed to provide an introduction to trade analysis in R. International trade is a key ingredient to economic growth, employment and poverty reduction. Being able to analyse trade data sets can help countries to understand better their trade with other countries and devise better policies. The first four sections of the course provide you with some good basics for R, whereas sections 5, 6, 7 and 8 will focus on trade analysis, specifically gravity modelling with a focus on the impact of non-tariff measures. If you know how to program with R and are interested in trade analysis, we suggest you start from Section 5. The course is self-paced and you can obtain a certificate from UN ESCAP after completing the quizzes. To take the course go to: https://r.tiid.org/
