Study Tour on Innovative Technologies and Good Practices

A study tour involving relevant municipal officials from Dhaka, Gurugram, and Bangkok is set to be coordinated in partnership with the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of ESCAP.

This tour aims to offer an opportunity for participants to enhance their comprehension of innovative technologies and best practices in air pollution mitigation through engagement with key stakeholders in the Republic of Korea. The program will encompass a range of activities, including lectures, training sessions, interactive dialogues, and field visits.

Specifically, the study tour will emphasize the following objectives:

  • Gain insights from successful instances of innovative technologies and their applications for air pollution control in urban areas, drawing from the experiences of the Republic of Korea.
  • Grasp the strategies that enable the adoption of innovative technologies for air pollution control at the city level, including the development of action plans.
  • Foster collaboration across borders in the field of air pollution control technologies among the targeted cities.
